Programming Corner
For many years, the Icon Newsletter included
a Programming Corner feature that presented various aspects of programming
in Icon. That function now has been taken over by the Icon
Analyst, but much of the material in the Newsletter's articles on programming
is still relevant.
We've resurrected the Programming Corner articles an put them on-line
for persons who are interested in programming in Icon.
These articles date back many years and some of the information in them
is out of date. For example, until recently Icon did not have a facility
for generating the keys in a table. How to generate key using Icon expressions
was discussed in early issues of the Newsletter, but these discussions now
have only historical interest.
The date and Icon version number current at the time are included at the
beginning of each page.
