Mohan graduated in Jan 2006 and is now a researcher at Intel's Programming Systems Lab.

My dissertation research proposed holistic system optimization---a new approach to improving the way systems are structured and optimized, based on a a symbiosis between operating system design, program analysis and compiler techniques. The approach was used to demonstrate whole-system optimizations that improved aspects such as dependability apart from performance.
