Me

I was a grad student pursuing a Master's degree in the CS dept at the University of Arizona.

I was born and brought up in the southern part of India (you can easily tell either by my unusually long name or by my accent ;o) . In particular, I come from Mysore, the royal city of the state of Karnataka.

Somethings more about myself. I like travel, photography and hiking. Notably here in the States, I have hiked parts of the Cascades in the Pacific Northwest and more recently I did the Grand Canyon.

Otherwise, I like listening to music. Coldplay, U2 and Pink Floyd have been my long time favs. Off late I have started to listen to Modest Mouse and I am starting to like them :o)

When I am feeling bookish, I usually read philosophy: specifically The Upanishads and related works. Otherwise, my reading interests toggle between economics and medicine.
