COMMITTEES
Matt J. talked about possible committees that need to be manned. Because of the light turnout for this meeting, no committees were formally staffed, just announced.
DUES
Do the ACM members want to pay dues?
Pros: Provides instant funds for activities
Cons: Exclusionary practice
Do we want to provide a T-shirt in conjunction with paying a due? If that's the case, then perhaps it is best just to sell a T-shirt for profit, regardless of membership.
PHILANTHROPY
Brief discussion about doing an ACM Student philanthropy.
Teena was going to do AIDSWALK2000, but because of limited time to gather donations, she cancelled her plans.
