Liquid Software:
A New Paradigm for Networked Systems

Goal

  • We are exploring how to build networked systems using liquid software---software that easily flows from machine to machine. Networks built using liquid software will be easier to maintain, debug, and update. Liquid software will enable new paradigms, such as active networks---networks that allow users and applications to customize the network by interjecting code into it.

The main research thrusts of this project are Fast Compilation of Mobile Code, Mobile Search Application, and OS Support. Click here for more details.
