Joseph Baugh earned an MBA from the Eller College of Management in 2004, then moved directly into a doctoral program and received his PhD in Organization and Management with a specialization in Leadership from Capella University. His dissertation (Deregulation and Management Strategies: A Case Study of Georgia System Operations Corporation) examined organizations in transition through a case study of a non-profit generation and transmission electrical cooperative. His PhD was conferred in March 2008.  Joseph resides in Benson, Arizona, and works at Arizona Electric Power Cooperative as the Power Trading Services Manager. He is an adjunct instructor at Cochise College in the CIS department and at UA South where he is also the faculty coordinator for the BAS-Supervision degree program. In 2001, Joseph started his own business, Baugh Group LTD, which provides information security assessments and evaluations, project management, and technical training to clients across the US.
