The idea is that you should download MacX from
the server, click on "CS X Settings", and MacX
should start up. 

It hasn't been working until now because of
various software/network/setup problems. 

I would have tried it out myself, but no student
is willing to give up their lab machine for me )-;

I don't think there's any documentation available.
Is that right, Peter D?

If you got that far, you should be OK. Assuming that everything
works as planned, all you should have to do is
   prompt>  disp test1
and a window should start up.
