Biography

I earned my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Arizona in 2011. Currently I am a Lecturer in the School of Information: Science, Technology and Arts.

Research

I am interested in applying artificial intelligence to the problem of aiding human education. For my doctoral dissertation research I developed a generalized skill teaching framework for building intelligent tutoring systems and tested it on human subjects in two different domains. In the past I have worked on function optimization including particle swarm optimization and genetic algorithms.
