Research

Systems and Industrial Engineering: (September 2005 - June 2006)

I worked as a Graduate Research Assitant to Dr. Suvrajeet Sen in the Dept of Systems and Industrial Engineering. I assisted in developing a network war simulation game for research in Linear Programming and Game Theory. This was part of the Arizona MURI project, whose awful webpage is my creation! But the research there is pretty good, I assure you!

Steward Observatory: (September 2004 - August 2005)

I was a Graduate Research Assistant in the Steward Observatory. This is the Astronomy Department at the University of Arizona. Here I worked in the Astronomica.org project under Dr. Christopher Impey. I was responsible for maintaining the website and the server as well as development activities. Most of the development work involved coding in Java, JSP and XSL. The databases used were mysql and postgresql. Worked in Fedora Core 3 Linux and Windows 2000 server platforms.

Please refer to my Projects page for more on my work as a Research Assistant.
