Reading Department Email Remotely

Email to cs.arizona.edu addresses for current CS students, faculty, and staff is redirected to email.arizona.edu mailboxes. CS email for alumni is forwarded to the address they choose via the On-Line Services page.

For information on accessing email on the email.arizona.edu systems, see http://uits.arizona.edu/services/email. This area includes instructions on setting up various email clients with IMAP or POP.

You can set up your email client to point to your CS home directory. This allows access to any old CS email files and folders (created prior to the changeover to UITS email) as well as allowing new ones to be created. This can be useful for filing and organizing your email. Thunderbird and Pine are the email clients supported by Lab Staff.
